Hooper’s Mechanical Departments are the contractors of choice for a number of large projects including: power plants, Bio-Tech facilities, office buildings and complexes, food plants, hospitals and pharmaceutical laboratories and are consistently awarded State of Wisconsin projects of scale.
Our Electric Power Departments are skilled in the construction, modification, and maintenance of high voltage transmission lines and substations up to 345 kV. The Electric Power Departments also provide complete Design/Build EPC (Engineer Procure Construct) project delivery.
We specialize in technically challenging projects and are capable of handling any project individually but are also able to collaborate on projects and work well as a team. Through Building Information Modeling (BIM), Hooper’s collaboration in-house in addition to the ability to work seamlessly with other contractors can save our customers in both time and money on any project. We are also capable of buying factory direct and/or attaining deep discounts for bulk purchases and further reducing costs through our pre-fabrication abilities.
Hooper’s Electric Power Departments have expanded our reach from our core territory in the Midwest to the East Coast and Western regions of the country. We have the experience, equipment, and tooling to install transmission structures of every height, weight, and configuration as well as conductor to 2156 in bundled configurations. We are a T2 conductor expert as we have installed hundreds of miles of this conductor type for a variety of utility clients. Our equipment and experience also allows us to provide these capabilities and operate in varied and rugged terrain, including swamps, bluffs, river crossings and bottoms, as well as urban or rural locations.
