This coloring book teaches kids how to avoid dangers posed by electricity and how electric utilities and construction teams restore power after a storm

At Hooper Corporation, safety is our most important core value. We are committed to the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and community, with the focus and belief of a zero accident/injury philosophy. We require individual accountability and expect all employees to adhere to our safety standards, as well as actively participate in and support the advancement of our health and safety practices.

We hold safety as the responsibility of all employees, starting with upper management down to the individual craft worker. Without support from upper management, no safety program can succeed. Our proactive philosophy and involvement of management provides the leadership and guidance of the company and the safety program.

Hooper is committed to an environment of continuous change and improvement. By involving employee committees that meet to discuss safety promotion, effectiveness and direction, and who provide input directly to upper management, we have an all-important buy-in to the safety philosophy of the company.

Our Safety Department staff has a wide range of educational backgrounds, from graduate level degrees in Occupational Safety to trade specific certifications. This mix of talent allows for creative diversity, grounded by trade specific knowledge in the various construction endeavors of the company. Regulatory and company compliance, training, and incident prevention are the main focus of our Safety Department.

Placing safety at the core of our culture separates us from our competitors. Our safety based culture makes an impact on every project we touch. Making safety a priority on every project and in every aspect of our lives means fewer injuries, accidents, and lost time. It also means an increase in productivity. And ultimately, it leads to a better work environment and finished product that we provide our customers.
