Jeremie Steindl is a Steamfitter Journeyman for Hooper’s Mechanical Division – HVAC and a dedicated supporter of veterans in Rock County, volunteering over 200 hours in the past year. He serves as the Senior Vice Commandant for the Marine Corps League, Detachment 623. As a member of various committees, he has helped raise over $43,000 for Wisconsin Marine veterans, including Marine Reserve units through various events, including a successful Summer Fun 50/50 raffle. Additionally, he is a committee member for the Toys for Kids program and assists with fundraising and event coordination for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Chapter 45-9. Jeremie also contributed to organizing the 1st Annual Rock County Veterans Reunion, providing over 1,000 veterans an opportunity to connect and enjoy free food, drinks, and entertainment.
Jeremie believes it is important to be involved and give back because for him a person only has so much time to make a difference and being a volunteer is more personal. “It is the greatest sense of gratification meeting people you are supporting. They understand who you are and what you are doing for them,” Jeremie said.
