Terry Johnson, Senior Project Manager at Hooper Electric Power, became involved with volunteering at Rosie’s Ranch, a therapeutic horse ranch in Parker, Colorado, through his daughter’s dance studio. The studio emphasizes the importance of being a positive community member and regularly organizes opportunities to give back. At Rosie’s Ranch, Terry helps children with disabilities overcome confidence challenges and builds meaningful connections with special needs individuals, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported. Additionally, Terry and his family also volunteer with the YMCA of the Rockies. They chaperone summer camps, where kids can learn new skills, make friends, and explore the great outdoors.

“My roots are in my community, and anything we can do to make it better, we are always willing.” Terry said. “We’re fortunate to be able to give, whether financially or with our time. It’s a wonderful way to connect with friends, neighbors, and the larger community.”
